San Antonio, TX (October 13, 2020) – Today, the Board of Directors of the SA Auto Dealers Association (SADA) presented a $40,000 check to the United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County in support of the COVID-19 Community Response Fund. The funds were raised by more than 40 participating SADA auto dealers who donated $10 from every customer vehicle alignment throughout September as part of SADA’s Dealers Aligned for COVID Relief campaign.
The monies will stay in our community and will provide much needed financial support to area nonprofits on the frontlines of the pandemic who are serving Bexar County’s most vulnerable, including in the areas of social services, business and employment, and food security and shelter.
“The current pandemic continues to impact so many people in our community, as well as the nonprofits who provide them with vital services,” Said Pam Crail, President of SADA. “As members of the business community, our members were focused on working together to help support these important efforts.”
The COVID-19 Response Fund was created by United Way, and multiple partners, including the San Antonio Area Foundation to help support the immediate and long-term needs of our community during these challenging times.
