San Antonio Auto & Truck Show Pumps the Brakes on its 2020 Annual Show, Amid the Ongoing Pandemic

SAN ANTONIO (August 18, 2020) — The 52nd annual San Antonio Auto & Truck Show, hosted by the SA Auto Dealers Association, will be postponed until November 2021.

With the evolving health crisis continuing and with the safety of its partners, patrons, and guests being of the utmost importance and highest priority amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the Association has made the decision to cancel the event.

“While this is a difficult decision, we feel it is the right one to make as we navigate through the ‘normalcy’ of this pandemic,” said San Antonio Auto and Truck Show Chairman, Lee Willis. “We want to protect the safety of all of our trusted auto show partners, our fellow San Antonians, and all of our visitors who travel in for the Show.”

The Show, which is held annually at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, has plans to make its return with even more exciting rides, drives, and interactive technologies in the 2021 season.

“We are exploring other options to provide opportunities for Show guests to be able to get up close and personal with the new cars and trucks, but in the meantime, we encourage everyone to visit our local dealerships to see all the new makes and models,” said SA Auto Dealers President, Pam Crail.

The 2021 Show will be held on November 11-14, 2021. To learn more, visit www.saautoshow.com.
